The Soldiers Monument has been moved from the site to be restored.  If you have passed the monument at the intersection of U. S. 42 and Industrial Parkway you may have noticed the monument is gone. Planning is ongoing to prepare the new site for the monument and the park that will eventually surround this historic treasure. 

This year is the 100th anniversary of the dedication of this tribute to the Jerome Township veterans of the Civil War and other wars through the Spanish American War.  The current plans for this year include having the monument restored and relocated.  In addition an ADA approved walkway up to and around the monument will be installed as well as appropriate lighting.  These improvements will complete Phase I of the project.  A Rededication of the Monument is being planned for the fall of 2013.  Please continue checking this site for current information.

Funds to carry forward with this project are needed.  Contributions may be sent to Jerome Township and are placed in a fund to be used for this purpose.  Contributions to this fund are tax deductible and a receipt will be sent to the donor.

Trustee Meetings. Meetings of the Jerome Township Trustees are held on the first and third Monday of each month unless the first or third Monday is a Holiday in which event the meeting is held on the following Tuesday evening. The meetings are at 8:00 in the Township Hall at 9777 Industrial Parkway during DST.  The public is invited to attend.
